FishMeteo Community Guidelines
FishMeteo is a place to record fishing experiences, exchange practical knowledge, and enjoy the outdoors together. These rules apply to all public posts, images, profile information, and other community content. By publishing community content, you confirm that you have read and agree to these guidelines.
1. Respect other people
- Do not harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or deliberately humiliate others.
- Do not promote hatred or discrimination based on identity or personal characteristics.
- Discuss disagreements without personal attacks or abusive language.
2. Keep content safe and lawful
- Do not publish illegal content or encourage dangerous or criminal activity.
- Do not post pornography, nudity, sexually suggestive content, sexual exploitation, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Do not promote self-harm, suicide, dangerous challenges, or behavior that encourages people to harm themselves or others.
- Do not promote, trade, or facilitate access to illegal drugs, weapons, gambling services, or other regulated goods and services.
- Do not distribute malware, steal accounts or credentials, provide phishing content, or attempt to bypass FishMeteo security or access controls.
- Do not post graphic violence or other content that endangers minors.
- Do not use the community for scams or fraud.
3. Protect privacy and fishing locations
- Do not disclose another person's private information, precise location, or private fishing spot without permission.
- Check the visibility setting before publishing. A private fishing spot remains private unless you choose to disclose it elsewhere in your content.
- Remove sensitive details from photos before posting when necessary.
4. Fish responsibly
- Follow local fishing licenses, seasons, size and catch limits, access restrictions, and protected-species rules.
- Do not encourage environmental damage, cruelty, trespassing, or unsafe fishing practices.
- Respect local communities, wildlife, waterways, and the principle of leaving no trace.
5. Post authentic, relevant content
- Public community content should focus on fishing experiences, tackle and gear, catches, techniques, fishing weather and sea conditions, offshore fishing, fish species, and closely related topics.
- Content with limited relevance to these topics may remain available in the author's personal records without appearing in public community feeds.
- Do not impersonate people or organizations, manipulate others, or deliberately spread false information.
- Do not repeatedly post advertisements, irrelevant links, duplicate content, or other spam.
- Only upload content that you own or have permission to share. Respect copyright and other intellectual-property rights.
6. Enforcement
We may restrict visibility, remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts when content violates these guidelines, applicable law, or the FishMeteo User Agreement. We consider context, severity, repetition, and risk when reviewing a violation.
7. Reports and appeals
To report harmful, unlawful, or guideline-violating community content, email fishmeteo@zaihu365.cn with the relevant post or account details and the reason for the report. Do not forward illegal or highly sensitive material in the email.
If you believe your content or account was restricted by mistake, you may appeal through the same email address. Include the account or post information, the decision you wish to appeal, and any context that may help us review it.
8. Effective date and updates
These guidelines take effect on September 21, 2026. We may update them as the community, product, or legal requirements change. The latest version and its updated date will be published on this page. Where appropriate, we may also provide notice in FishMeteo. Continuing to publish community content after an update means you accept the updated guidelines.
